Why I’m at MediaJel and What I’m Building Here
I have always believed one thing about work: if I’m going to give a company my time, my mind, and my name, the mission has to matter. I don’t chase titles or logos. I look for problems worth fixing and industries where the right strategy genuinely changes people’s lives.
Cannabis is that industry for me.
The truth is simple
Most regulated businesses are fighting with half the tools everyone else gets to use. They are told to “act like modern brands” while navigating rules, restrictions, and data limitations no other category deals with. They want clarity. They want growth. They want to understand their customers. But the ecosystem around them was never built to support them.
And I am not interested in watching another wave of operators fail because the infrastructure failed them first.
That is why I am here.
What I believe about this industry
Cannabis is full of smart teams doing their best with incomplete information. They are not failing because of effort.
They are failing because the system around them is broken.
- Platforms block their ads
- Attribution is fragmented or inaccurate
- Customer insights are shallow
- Data gets siloed
- And money disappears into channels no one can measure
Meanwhile, this industry is pressured to grow like CPG while being treated like it is barely legitimate.
That disconnect is exactly the type of challenge I run toward.
Why MediaJel is the place to solve it
When I joined, I wasn’t looking for a “marketing job.” I was looking for a team building something meaningful for an underserved market that desperately needs better tools.
MediaJel had already done the hard part most companies avoid.
They built compliant ad infrastructure, customer-level attribution, and data systems specifically for regulated brands. Not repackaged. Not retrofitted. Purpose-built.
What impressed me most wasn’t the technology. It was the discipline. The obsession with clarity. The refusal to give clients fluffy metrics or performative marketing wins.
This is a team that understands operators have real dollars at stake and real pressure from every direction. And they built a platform that actually respects that.
My role in all of this
I came here to do three things.
1. Make the industry smarter
Cannabis operators deserve access to the same level of education, playbooks, and enablement that other industries get for free.
I want MediaJel to raise the bar — not just through tools, but through training, content, and community.
2. Prove revenue, not activity
Marketing only matters if it drives measurable, incremental revenue. I obsess over that.
Everything I lead — content, product positioning, demand generation, partner enablement — is designed to make operators see what actually works.
3. Build a company people trust
Not because of our awards, but because we consistently deliver clarity, data truth, and profitability in a space where that has historically been impossible.
Where we’re going next
This team is building something the industry has never had: a transparent, unified view of the entire customer journey across retail, ecommerce, media, and customer behavior.
When we launch what’s coming next, operators will finally be able to:
- Track true incremental lift
- Identify real winbacks
- Understand CLV with accuracy
- Attribute revenue confidently
- Unlock audiences that drive profitability
- And make decisions based on truth, not assumptions
This is the next evolution of regulated-market marketing.
And I’m here to help lead it.
If you work in cannabis, here’s my invitation
If you are tired of guessing,
If you are tired of chasing incomplete data,
If you are tired of agencies selling vanity metrics,
Then we should talk.
You deserve clarity. You deserve strategy. You deserve tools that match the complexity of your business.
I came to MediaJel because this industry deserves better. Now we’re building exactly that.
